ブログの評価基準（ひょうかきじゅん evaluation criteria）

11/5にクラスでブログについて話しましたが、ブログの評価（ひょうか　evaluation）は、学生のself evaluation 、peer evaluation、先生のevaluationにしようと思います。これが評価基準（ひょうかきじゅん evaluation criteria）のまとめ (summary）です。ブログプロジェクトの目的（もくてき objective)もよく読んで下さい。ブログは宿題のrecordのためではありません。We will evaluate the project based on this criteria at the end of this fall semester.

1: Language

•       Use new vocabulary, kanji & grammar

•       Make longer and more complex sentences

•       Meanings for unfamiliar kanji & vocabulary

2: Content

•       Engaging, Interesting, Meaningful, Creative, Entertaining, Educational

•       Videos, Photos

3: Communication

•       Interaction with commenters

•       Frequently comment on other’s blogs

4: Layout

•       Nice fonts, color, Clean, clear, and easy to read layout

•       Personalize your layout

5: Frequency

•       Posting regularly as opposed to rarely

•       Post when not required to; have a post that is not a specific homework assignment

夏の留学プログラムミーティング

Grave of the Fireflies (火垂るの墓 Hotaru no haka) 1988 Japanese animated drama film written and directed byIsao Takahata and animated by Studio Ghibli. It is based on the 1967 semi-autobiographical novel of the same name byAkiyuki Nosaka. It is commonly considered an anti-war film, but this interpretation has been challenged by some critics and by the director. Predominantly set in Japan during World War II, the film tells the story of Seita, a young boy who has to take care of his younger sister Setsuko when their mother dies.

１）「今、一番行きたいところ」について書いて下さい。どうして行きたいんですか？

２）そして、そこで何をしたいですか？
「〜に行く時」「〜に行った時」を使って書いて下さい。
（i.e. 日本に行った時、おてらに行って、すしをたべようと思います）

1. よくストレスをかんじますか？(かんじる= to feel) ストレスがある時、どんなことをしますか？　解決法（かいけつほう：solution）を書いて下さい。
2. ストレスがたくさんあって、こまっている ( to have troubles) 友だちがいます。アドバイスをして下さい。
3. クラスメートのブログを読んで、コメントして下さい。最低(さいてい at least)  ２つして下さい。

ジブリ映画の案内１

今学期（こんがっき）もDebartolo Performing Arts Centerでジブリが上映（じょうえい）されます。今週は２本映画が見られます。今週の土曜日は、 Porco Rosso（紅の豚（くれないのぶた））、日曜日は、Pompoko(平成狸合戦（へいせいたぬきがっせん）ぽんぽこ））。他にも多くのジブリ作品が上映されるそうです。ぜひ、見にいってくださいね。

会話テーブル

みなさん

今学期（こんがっき）も会話テーブルをしますよ。来週の月曜日にはじまります。
一年生から五年生の日本語の学生や、日本人の留学生（りゅうがくせい）が来ます。
日本のおかし（sweets）もありますよ。
みなさんは、二年生ですから、たくさん日本語で話せますね！

会話テーブルに行って、日本語を話したり、新しい友だちを作ったりしてください！

１）クラスメイトに自己紹介（じこしょうかい）をしてください
２）夏休みについて書いて下さい
　→　夏休みにしたことを一つえらんで（choose）、くわしく（in details）書いて下さい。
一年生でべんきょうした文法（ぶんぽう：grammar）や、たんごをたくさんつかって、ながい文（ぶん：sentences）を作って下さいね。

来週の水曜日はPreliminary chapterのテストがあるから、いい復習（ふくしゅう：review）になると思いますよ。

ブログプロジェクトの目的（もくてき）

目的（もくてき）= objective

Blog provides a place:



1. To share/express your happiness, surprise, excitement, and/or frustration, as well as any questions you might have, while learning the Japanese language (or any other topics).

2. To communicate with your classmates and other people outside of class.

• Language learning is not limited to what you do for the course but also includes what you do and experience outside the class. We will create links to your classmates' blogs as well as blogs by students in other schools, so you can see what other people think and feel about Japanese language learning (as well as other topics). You are also strongly encouraged to leave comments on these blogs.

• We know that your Japanese language is limited, but you can convey your intended meaning more effectively by utilizing other resources such as pictures and videos. Remember that people utilize not only language but also other resources such as tone of your voice, music, body language, picture, color, font style and size for communication.

3. To reflect (or evaluate) what you have done so far.

• Sometimes it is challenging to see our own progress or growth. Blogs help you to look back and see how you have changed through the course of your Japanese language learning.

• At the end of the semester your blog will be evaluated by the instructors, your classmates, other people, as well as yourself. We will discuss the criteria of evaluation later.
